The Laughing Falcon is an accipitriform bird of the Accipitridae family. It is also known as the Laughing Hawk, Tauató-Caçador, Hunting Hawk, Laughing Hawk, and Tauató-Cinza. The Laughing Falcon is a species exclusively found in forests, measuring between 30 and 42 cm. The adult has gray plumage on the ventral part and dark gray on the back, with orange shorts and a tail with three gray bars. It weighs between 205 and 250 grams.
